Field Operations
CERT Operational Responsibilities
Communications -- Radio operators to keep in touch with field units.
Documentation -- Scribes to keep records in the Command Center(s).
Fire Control -- Locate and extinguish any fires within Grand Haven or coordinate assistance if fire is too large.
Medical -- Provide basic medical first aid support to those that need it.
Search & Rescue -- Sweep areas of devastation.
Transportation -- Supplies to field units and/or take injured to central location.
Support of injured/confused -- Stay with injured or confused individual.
Chain Saw Gang -- Team to keep Grand Haven access ways open.
Logistics Support -- Provide food, water, supplies, etc. to field units as needed.
